A cramped old kitchen gets size and sizzle.

With a little design wizardry, a two-level, cramped kitchen and underutilized dining room has been transformed into a show-stopper perfect for hosting guests.

Dilworth's Custom Design set forth to provide more space, efficiency and glamour to this cramped old kitchen. By combining a two level space for a total of 425 square feet, the Dilworths completely changed this existing space. Removing the separation of spaces by making the kitchen space larger all on one level, which enhanced the island capability and function as well as giving us the space to create a beautiful decorative hood piece that becomes the focal point of the entire room!

Painted glaze, raised panel door & drawer design were chosen, to create a classic, clean, bright new inviting space. The granite, Cleopatra color, also opened up the space with it's beautiful motion & natural flow. This was all topped of with a one of a kind, three dimensional backsplash, with a custom grout blend. This entire renovation, including moving the laundry space to the second floor & creating a butler's pantry in its place took DCD approximately five weeks to complete.

By expanding, updating and beautifying, the once-cramped kitchen it is now a glamorous showcase kitchen.
